The mission of Redemption Christian Center Church is to conquer this and every community represented by this body of Believers for Christ. This will be accomplished through the combined effort of every member as we conduct the business of this church under the auspices of our stated, "Articles of Faith."

Curtis Bellazer Sr. had accepted Christ in his life and was serving as a minister at First Corinthians Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois, when he heard the Call from God to return home and redeem his community.
Walking by faith, he brought his family back to Hammond, Louisiana. In the summer of 1987, Redemption Christian Center came into existence in a small church on Whitaker Lane. From those small beginnings, the church has grown tremendously each year and continues to see the fruits of its labor in the Old Baton Rouge Hwy community and beyond.
